Heather and Robby's Engagement Photos

This special couple clearly cherishes eachother to the moon and back!  Heather had some fantastic ideas for their engagement photo shoot, and I had a wonderful time bringing them to life.  I thought it was so special how she wanted to incorporate Robby's fire fighter attire into the photo shoot.  Having met at the Fire Department where he works as a firefighter, and she works as a dispatcher, this clearly is a huge part of their lives.  I'm excited for their wedding, and a lifetime of happiness for both of them!

Congratulations Heather and Robby!

Rachel's Maternity Session

This gorgeous couple is expecting their first child!  A baby girl, due in just 7 short weeks.  Rachel, looks absolutely incredible and her husband Navid, is clearly completely enamored with her.  Such a precious couple who will obviously be wonderful parents!  I had a great time capturing their maternity pictures, and am so excited for them to meet their little bundle of joy!

Reighlynn's Newborn Photos

After photographing the maternity photos, and the birth of this little bundle of joy, I almost feel like this family is part of our family!  This beautiful, petite, little baby girl did splendidly for her outdoor session.  This was the first official outdoor photo shoot since we've gotten our new camera!  And I had a wonderful time getting a "baby fix"

I'm excited to see how much she changes over the next year!

*This family LOVES purple, so I couldn't help but make a teeny, tiny white and purple tutu for her!  I was so glad to see it fit so well, especially with how tiny she was!

It was amazing coming full circle one month later.  Starting off with the a maternity photo shoot at the Evansville State Park and meeting there again to take her newborn photos soon after!  Life really is quite the miracle!

Birth of Our Blog

It's time to finally begin our journey into the photographic world of blogging!  And I can't think of a better way than to share the chronicle of the birth of the Goade family.  They welcomed their first child into the world last night, September 15th, 2010, weighing 5 pounds, 15 ounces.  She came out wide eyed and ready to meet the world.  The room was quite a bit darker than anticipated and it was my goal not to disrupt the birthing process with a multitude of flashes, so we were glad to see that the photos were fairly unaffected by the low light situation.  Such an incredible moment to witness and I'm so glad the Goade family asked me to tag along!

Such a magical day!
Congratulations Goade Family!

Karen Goades comment in regards to her experience for her birthing photography session:

Karen:  We never thought of doing pictures during the delivery of our baby girl, in fact my husband and I weren't planning on having anyone in the delivery room, but when presented with the opportunity we decided why not. During the whole process Brookeanne was so nice and professional, she never got in the way and was literally like a fly on the wall! After viewing the photos we couldn't imagine not having the delivery photographed. As the mother it gives me views that I would have never been able to see and now I can cherish them forever. My husband and I agree that picture 24 is the absolute best of our little girl, and that it may never be outdone! We are more than pleased with the whole experience and are planning on having our next child's delivery photographed.
