... taking pictures of people lying down on the ground! I think everyone looks so much more relaxed and comfortable. Even some of my littlest subjects get a kick out of it!

Pachuta Fall Family Photos (Evansville, IN Photographer)
What can I say about the Pachuta Family other than that I adore them? I met April through an ad on Craigslist that I put up offering a free maternity shoot! She came with her adorable 2 year old son in tow and her delightful husband! The entire family was (is) incredibly laid back and such a joy to be around! I instantly felt a connection with her and was so appreciative of how easy going she was with me while I figured out the ins and outs of the new lighting. After that I got to do their sweet arrival Lily's newborn photos, and was so excited when they contacted me last month about doing family photos. The session was so fun and I just loved hanging out with them! April's amazing feedback definitely helps keep me motivated and her touching, appreciative e-mails have brought me to tears on more than one occasion!
Until Next time Pachuta Family!

Jernigan Family Photos (Evansville, IN Photographer)
I enjoyed meeting the Jernigan Family this week! They had a great spot in mind and the boys came to life playing around in the beautiful scenery. These handsome boys are going to have the girls fawning for them when they get older!
The mom really wanted primarily colored photos, so I had to step out of my comfort zone a bit to get as many colored photos in as possible... but I think it was worth the effort and was glad it forced me to work harder on coloring techniques!

Before and After
The only request this family had was to get a picture of everyone smiling all together. Of course they knew it doesn't always work that way, but I certainly was going to try my hardest. Thankfully, Photoshop was also a big help. What do you think?

Fall Photos- Mother and Boys (Evansville, IN Photographer)
These two boys just warmed my heart! Joseph had me smitten with hello! His helpful demeanor and eagerness to catch just the right photo, was the perfect combination! He was also awesome with his little brother and you can tell from the pictures that little Matthew thinks his big brother is pretty awesome too! Mathew is turning 1 this year, so we wanted to get some fun pictures of just him to use for his birthday!
It was wonderful meeting you Clark family! You have two wonderful little boys!!!
P.S. Thanks for finding my keys Joseph ;)!!!
Fall Photos -Synowiec Family (Evansville, IN)
It was a wonderful warm Fall day and this mother (who loves green), looked amazing! Her adoring husband and her adorable son are such a joy to be around! I loved doing her maternity photos, was even more thrilled when they asked me to do their son's newborn photos, and felt pretty darn special when they asked me to do his 3 month photos yesterday! It's always a great time, full of laughter with the Synowiec's!
I had a blast (as always) Synowiec Family!!!

Baby Hailey
This sweet baby girl was such a doll to work with! I was thrilled when she gave me the biggest smile upon meeting me... I knew that getting adorable pictures of her was going to be a piece of cake! The day was actually very cold in comparison to how it had been earlier that morning, but she was quite the trooper. It's hard to believe that we're leaving sun dress season and headed for bright, colorful scarves and hats! I'm glad we were able to squeeze some of her in her beautiful summer clothes before the weather really turned on us!
